"Continuing my exploration of boyhood and motherhood, the spreading of wings into independence, into becoming men, these works reflect on the vulnerability and uncertainty of this path. The relationship with my teenage son - gazes, hands, shadows - become a metaphor for leaving and returning to source, and for finding one's path in life."
